Things that make me who I am.....

I do my best to be positive and show love to those who take the time to get to know me. I am strange, and a bit random as you will see from this blog. I love Disneyland, taking pictures, Dexter, Halloween, Christmas, strange things hang time with friends/family and most of all the love of my life Mark and Jesus :).
I hope you enjoy my blog and comments are always welcome.

<3 much love. :)

New Years Eve with New Years Day :) Such an epic night with amazing friends, and even all the fans around the world got to be a part of it via stickam!

This is why NYD is the best band around, and why we are one big strange family

Happy Fishing grandpa…..
Yesterday my wonderful grandfather Max took his journey home. He was an amazing man who laughed like that would be his last time laughing. I remember the times we spent together and it makes me miss him so much and wish that he was still here, but I can’t be selfish. He was ready to rest and be home with our Heavenly father.
We did so many amazing things with him. I must say we got blessed to have him in our lives. There are so many memories that we, my family and I, were blessed to share with him that it will keep me going even though he is no longer here.
One of the best days I spent with him was at Disneyland, I remember being a little one who wanted to experience everything and anything and he did his best to keep me from getting scared on the rides. Which is why he wouldn’t let me go on ‘Space Mountain’ or when we got on ‘Big Thunder Mountain’ he walked straight through the ride and wanted me to go with him, but I was stubborn and sat down so I had to ride with an Uncle of mine. After the ride he asked me how it was and all I said was “Tata I should have stayed with you.” See I was so little that I slid around in the seat and was afraid of falling out. One of the rides that still reminds me of him is “Pirates of the Caribbean” He would pretend that the pirates were really shooting and would duck and cover, but one time they shot and he didn’t have time to cover. So, what did he do? He pretended the pirates shot his hat off, Tata always wore a trucker hat. I remember giggling and laughing while he tried to put his hat back on and said “I wonder if there is fish here?” Yet again, I laughed and giggled and called him silly as he gave me a hug. My Tata, Max loved to fish.
One of the things I can say reminds me the most of him is the ocean. Many fishing trips were taken there by my family and me with my Tata. I remember he wanted to be there as long as possible; my sister, mom and I would be freezing and wanting to go home as him and my dad would fish. He would then look at us and say ‘Let’s go home we can come back tomorrow J’. If it was up to him he would go fishing every single day. I would like to think that he is now in a place so amazing that he can fish all day and enjoy doing everything he did while he was here with us.
I am thankful he taught me how to laugh, be goofy, joke around, fish, fix bikes, and most of all how to improvise. Thank you for such an amazing father and for the time you shared with all of us.
Now go and fish, Tata….happy fishing and may you rest in peace. I love you and will miss you mucho, mucho.
